Editorial Illustration In celebration of the recent SG51, a photographer talks about the joy and honor of capturing the National Day Parade each year, but even more about the delight she felt when she look back throughout her past experiences, and how they correlate on how she felt seeing how far Singapore has come. Although there are a thousand devices that can store high-definition soft copies of photographs, there is nothing that can replace the peculiar sense of warmth when we actually have hard copies of these moments stored inside pages of albums. The best thing about that is that we can actually see for ourselves how much we, Singapore, have grown as a country and a fully recognized cultural society.
